No Longer Denying Sexual Abuse

Author Kim O’Hara repressed her memories of sexual abuse for four decades, engaging in many forms of self-destructive thinking and actions to quell the unrest she carried within her. When she unearthed the truth of the abuse, she saw how her denial had affected all areas of her life from romance to parenting to earning money, health, addiction… the list goes on. Candid, honest and vulnerable, she is relatable to her reader, guiding them through the tools she used and mindset she created not just to survive the past, but to live free in a new world. Author O’Hara shows how while abuse takes one away from their true soul purpose, there is hope for return to the original self.  The time has come as a survivor to leave the shadows, shed secrets and live life as originally intended; with endless possibilities and potential.

FOREWORD BY SUE ANN PIEN

“Kim embraces her truth stepping out of the shadows to understand for the first time a child’s limited ability to understand this warped reality. Her sudden awakening in adulthood to finally see herself as whole gives victims both the validation and the courageous steps to recalibrate life and boldly their power back. ‘No Longer Denying Sexual Abuse: Making The Choices That Can Change Your Life’ is a must read and an invaluable message of hope and resilience.”

Andrea Mein DeWitt, Coach and Author of “Name, Claim & Reframe-Your Pathway to a Well-Lived Life.”

“The world needs truthtellers—and this is precisely what Kim O’Hara has shown up to do. By facing her own truth of sexual abuse and sharing it in all its pain and messiness, she paves the way for other survivors to step forward from the shadows of their own. And when one survivor heals a part of themselves, we all do. It takes courage to tell the truth…and to heal. This is an invitation to do both.”
